Science On SenecaScience on Seneca (SOS) is a middle and high school educational outreach program of the Finger Lakes Institute at Hobart and William Smith Colleges to enhance the teaching of environmental science in area high schools based on the environmental study of Seneca Lake.
Project Lead The WayRochester Institute of Technology serves as New York State's National Affiliate for Project Lead the Way. The program offers a hands-on, project-based approach to learning that better prepares students for the rigors of college. The program incorporates math, science, English, and technology skills needed for success. Summer and winter training courses are offered to teachers and their students.
Life Sciences Learning Center at the University of Rochester
Located at the University of Rochester Medical Center, the Life Sciences Learning Center is a place for secondary school students to visit and learn about science using cutting edge technology, and also a resource for teachers wanting to make science relevant and exciting for their classes.
