Rochester Museum & Science CenterThe
Rochester Museum & Science Center creates inspiring, entertaining and educational experiences engaging the community in the exploration of science and technology, the natural environment, and our region's cultural heritage. The museum offers opportunities to learn around every corner. While there, be sure to catch Murray's Mobile Lab as it circulates the building providing scientific demonstrations. In addition, visit the Baush Auditorium to see a show about the Water Cycle, or Creepy Crawlers. Youth classes, Scout classes, and Adult classes are offered on a weekly basis. Check back often to see what else is new.
Next door to the museum is the
Strasenburgh Planetarium... the place is out of this world! Walk through the solar system, or hold up the moon in the Planetarium's unique exhibits. While visiting, do not forget to say 'hello' to Carl, the Planetarium's Star Projector. The Planetarium presents both star shows and giant screen movies. Check the website for showtimes.
'Tis the season for the outdoors. South of Rochester, the
