The Kids' Science Challenge is a free nationwide competition for 3rd to 6th graders, made possible by the National Science Foundation. Our website features curricula alligned to national standards, downloadable activities, videos with scientists and engineers demonstrating our activities, games and a forum for kids to ask our KSC scientists questions directly.

Eligibility: 3-6 grades students

Award: Students submit ideas or problems in our science fields and if their idea is chosen, they get to visit and collaborate with the scientist to see their idea come alive.

Deadline: February 28th, 2010.
