The guidelines for this grant program are as follows:
1. Grants may be made up to $500.00 per project per year. (Exceptions may be made by the A&WMA-GFLC Board).
2. The requestor must be from a "not for profit/nonprofit" (educational) organization.
3. The project must promote environmental awareness and education.
4. Grants will be awarded based on the need and merit of the project and availability of funds. Preference will be given to those projects which complement the goals and objectives of A&WMA- GFLC.
5. Acknowledgement of the A&WMA-GFLC's support should be provided during presentation/completion of the project.
6. The grantee must provide a written report of the completed project to the Board.
7. Grant money must be returned to A&WMA-GFLC in the event the project is cancelled or for some reason does not occur.
8. Applications will be reviewed by the A&WMA-GFLC's Education Committee and recommendations made to the Board.
